Lindsay, 22, reportedly flew to Las Vegas on April 18 to attend the grand opening of a striptease production Peepshow and meet with its creator, Broadway director-choreographer Jerry Mitchell.
The show features celebrities in rotating lead roles and Lohan is in talks with Mitchell to take over from actress Kelly Monaco when the star leaves the show to return to US soap opera General Hospital.
