Asus has annunced its new U and UX series of notebooks claiming that now users won’t have to compromise on functionality for stylish looks.
Five U-series models are detailed, together with two UX-series processors range from Intel’s CULV line, Pentiums, Core 2 Solo and Core 2 Duo chips.
Displays range from the 12.1-inch U20A through to two 15.6-inch models, the U50G and U51Vg.
The UX50V and UX30 both include Express Gate that claims to enable users to access applications such as instant messaging, multimedia manager and the Internet in just 8 seconds.
Graphics range from Intel’s GMA 4500MHD chipset through to the NVIDIA GeForce G 105M and ATI Mobility Radeon HD4570.
There’s no pricing or availability details available as yet, but anyone looking for that elusive late afternoon in Paris vibe can check out the new ASUS U and UX at the ASUS booth at CeBIT until Sunday March 8.
